Mr. Philip S. Boni's primary area of concentration is
Civil Litigation and he has been involved in a
number of reported cases in the Cayman Islands in
areas including trusts, commercial disputes, banking
and confidentiality matters and family law. He also
has expertise in planning matters as he has
regularly appeared before the Planning and
Employment Tribunals for high profile clients. He
has a certificate of Accredited Mediator Training
and has advised many national and international
corporate clients. Mr. Boni obtained his Law
Degree from the University of London and was
admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in
1979. He practiced law in London and South West
England before moving to Grand Cayman and being
admitted to the Bar of the Cayman Islands in 1982.
Mr. Boni was head of Truman Bodden & Company's
Litigation Department until the merger with Higgs &
Johnson on January 1st, 2009. He is currently the
Country Managing
Partner at Higgs & Johnson practising Civil Litigation with a concentration on
Banking, Employment, confidentiality matters, the
Law of Trusts and complex ancillary matters cases.
Mr. Boni is a Notary Public and a member of the
Cayman Islands Law Society. He is also a member of
the Law Society of England and Wales and the
American Bar Association. |
